Maia Easley (she/her)

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist | Chief Operations Officer | Clinical Supervisor | Ph.D. Student

Relationships, sex, sexual identity, and intimacy are all topics that can feel isolating, and confusing. But, with the right supportive partner, it can feel freeing.

As a culturally sensitive Couple and Family Therapist, I can help you navigate these struggles, and support you through the process. I understand that embarking on a journey of therapy can seem daunting, which is why I am here to take the drive with you. During your therapy journey, you will have control of the steering wheel but will have the full support of myself in the passenger seat beside you. Together we can embark on a journey that can bring you clarity, and create space for a healthier version of yourself.

During our sessions, I will utilize strength and evidence-based therapy techniques, in order to best meet you where you are in your journey. I have experience with helping couples, and individuals with a spectrum of presenting concerns that consist of depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship conflict, sexual dysfunction, and intimacy concerns. My particular interest lies in working with BIPOC couples with communication and sexual concerns, as well as with women of color dealing with everyday stressors of their environment. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. I am sex-positive,  LGBTQIA+, Kink, BDSM, and Poly-affirming. I take pride in creating a safe space for my clients to feel comfortable with sharing intimate details about themselves.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Spelman College and received my clinical training in relational and systemic therapy at Adler University. I have the ability to work with several people in the room and provide a systemic outlook to individual therapy as well. I am also an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This credential has allowed me to understand the connection between behavior and emotions, which is a vital tool that I use when supporting couples and individuals with understanding the hardships within their relationships.

I look forward to being a supportive partner in your therapeutic journey!
