Scott Norberg is a professor of law at the Florida International University College of Law in Miami, Florida, where he teaches commercial law, including Contract and Bankruptcy Law. He has published numerous articles, which have been frequently cited, including by the United States Supreme Court. He has received FIU's highest award for teaching excellence. From 2011 to 2014 he served as the deputy managing director of the ABA Section of Legal Education, which is responsible for overseeing the accreditation of U.S. law schools.

Scott is a recidivist volunteer, for projects ranging from Habitat for Humanity to the homeless shelter. Most recently, he was appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court to serve as a member of the Court's Advisory Committee on the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. Scott's most rewarding experience is being a father of three, including Grace Martin, the founder and president of Grace Therapy and Wellness Center.
